About me

        My name is August.

I work with clay, metal, crystal, and other natural materials that draw me in. Through encounters with these materials that the earth gifts me, I like to translate ecological and social ideas into objects.

There is something about nature that my work returns to constantly. It anchors my thinking. And vulnerability moves it. Everything I make is made through my personal experience but I hope it can also touch something that is shared.
